I think and I wonder

I agree that emotional spending can be dangerous. You know that one of my favorite bible verses is “All things are permissible, but not all things are profitable.”(1 Corinthians 10:23) So just because there is money sitting in the checking account does not mean that we should spend. I have found it helpful to keep a running list of things that I would like to save for.

We talked this weekend about finding that “one” venture that could be very profitable. I wonder though, if we should be trying to find something, or if we should do the things that we love or have talent for and see what comes of it. Right now, today, it does not feel right to try and come up with something. Rather, I would hope that in the midst of doing what I love(and using my brain to be the very best at it) that I would naturally succeed.

What do you think?
